About Us

Our dance company „Kinder- & Jugendtanzensemble Neuenhagen“ was founded in 1989 by Simone Meuche. Today about 550 people are joint here in one hobby: Dance!

We offer classes in many different dancing styles including: - classical ballet dance - children dance - jazz dance - lyrical/ modern dance - tap dance - ballroom dance - folklore dance

We offer folklore dance since a few years but recently started to do research in old dance scripts to revive old regional dancing traditions. This is why we are especially happy to welcome boys and young men in this group as well.

Guest performances have lead us to many German towns but also to plenty of foreign countries like Italy, Austria, Latvia, England, Cyprus, France, Serbia, Ukraine, Hungary, Poland and USA. Highlights are participations in TV shows and musical productions in different theaters of Berlin. Members of our school were honored by getting first place in many national as well as international dance competitions. In 2006 Simone Meuche, the founder and art director, was honored for her success by the President of the Federal Republic of Germany. Since 2011 she is a member of the “German Dance Association” and since 2014 she is the president of the “Brandenburg Dance Association”. We are looking forward to giving much joy through our performances in future times.
